Sorry to hear! Did you ever interview?

Unfortunately not. I seem to remember reading that Stern tends to be a bit more selective on interview invites, and thus, if you've been invited, your chances for admittance are relatively high compared to some other schools (I think around unofficially around 70%?).

If you're interviewing in the next couple of weeks, please keep in mind that finals week starts on December 12th (yep, I know it's a Friday). Meaning, unfortunately, that you won't get to meet too many students on campus, if any.

If you're interviewing in the next couple of weeks, please keep in mind that finals week starts on December 12th (yep, I know it's a Friday). Meaning, unfortunately, that you won't get to meet too many students on campus, if any.

Waiting until February to meet current students (again - for some of us) is unrealistic, though. It's unfortunate that the adcom's schedule doesn't align well with the academic calendar.

I got an invite!! I think I snagged the last December spot. So excited!!!

Congrats!
I also received it yesterday! There was only one Dec session yesterday and was full already when I scheduled the interview today.
Actually is there any difference between Dec interview and Jan interview, will it be the earlier the better?
I have booked the 1.12 session. Is there anyone on that day?

I don't think it means you have a higher chance of getting accepted or rejected. They know they only have a certain amount of interview spots in December, yet are still sending out interview invites until the 15th.

I just hopped on the December slot because with the 3 week deadline they set for themselves, I would get my decision sooner. And I'm very impatient.

The three week deadline? they just said we should schedule the interview within two weeks.
Since I will fly to NYC from Hong Kong, so need some Visa stuff and hope the Jan interview will not affect the result!
