Calling all NYU-Stern Applicants (2015 Intake) Class of 2017

Unfortunately not. I seem to remember reading that Stern tends to be a bit more selective on interview invites, and thus, if you've been invited, your chances for admittance are relatively high compared to some other schools (I think around unofficially around 70%?).

If you're interviewing in the next couple of weeks, please keep in mind that finals week starts on December 12th (yep, I know it's a Friday). Meaning, unfortunately, that you won't get to meet too many students on campus, if any.

I don't think it means you have a higher chance of getting accepted or rejected. They know they only have a certain amount of interview spots in December, yet are still sending out interview invites until the 15th.

I just hopped on the December slot because with the 3 week deadline they set for themselves, I would get my decision sooner. And I'm very impatient.

Just got waitlisted. Not the response I wanted, but much better than a ding. Any idea what percentage of folks from the waitlist get interview invites eventually?
