Hi All,
I was considering part-time weekend MBA from either Kellogg, Booth or Ross starting this year, but due to some unavoidable circumstances I missed the deadlines for both Ross & Booth this year, and Kellogg has its deadline coming Feb 18.
I do not want to rush my application into Kellogg and risk getting dinged. However, I do not want to wait until next year too. I know Booth has another entry in the Fall so could prepare for that. For Ross, I will have to wait until next year for sure.
I will be 35 soon with 14+ years of experience in manufacturing followed by IT. Currently I am an IT Manager in West Michigan.
I have 710 on my GMAT and have a Bachelors in Engineering degree from a reputed state university in India, GPA equivalent to 3.2. I have a bunch of extra-curriculars too in the STEM academic field which could make my profile strong (...I believe).
A profile evaluation and some suggestions on timing my applications would be great.
Thanks
You have time for the Kellogg app if you work diligently between now and then. It isn't a bad idea to go for that and if you don't get in then re-evaluate and work on boosting another area of your app. You could either increase your GMAT or focus on extra-curricular leadership, or both. Good luck and reach out if you want help putting together a strong application.
Best,
Scott
