converting recurring decimal to fraction will give the denominator as 99.
so ans is 198 = C

could you please tell me how did you convert this into a fraction. I mean this is a general form of the decimal right? so could you please elaborate on the answer.

since its a general form i just took any recurring decimal of that form . say for example 0.343434... and converted that to the fraction and got the answer.
