Thanks for that update MenloCoaching!

There seems to be rumors spread by a number of folks and someone even started another topic about it: https://gmatclub.com/forum/hiring-freez ... 19564.html

The thought of possibly deferring my MBA is really terrifying. As an international who's 32+, I really wanted to get done with my MBA asap. I have mentally checked out of work, but I just have to come to terms that internationals may not resume this fall. I'm tired.

I hear you but 32 or 33 is not THAT big of a difference. You already already passed 30 :-)

I think you have to compartmentalize at the moment. That’s what I am doing at least to focus on the immediate needs and fears, frankly. However if you are going for a 2-year MBA program, I think the opportunities for jobs and internships will be there. It may require a late start or first quarter to be online but with a number of companies canceling internships for this year, opportunities may abound the year after. Anyone has other thoughts?

PS. Perhaps the visa interviews can be remote or via Skype, least for the student visas?

Any idea what's the scene in tech. ?
If companies are sticking to offers this year, Is it going to affect 2021 placements ?
