John has worked as analyst for 1 year only, although there is a requirement of 2 years experience. But there is a provision of waiving off of the requirement of 2 years as an analyst, if one gets 3 strong recommendations from either other associates or principals.
Since this is a question that asks us if POSSIBLE, our answer will be YES as he can be promoted if he has other requisite eligibility.

When you go through the requirements for a principal post, Cameron meets all the criteria, so YES again.

1)Yes,it is possible that he gets promoted, although he is having only 1 year of experience ,but the experience criteria can be waived off if one gets atleast 2 strong recommendations from other associates.
2)Yes,I think but the only challenge us since he has never worked with the bank so he might not get the recommendations but that I think would be useful in case of promotion and not an external application.
3)No,since the missing MBA degree would be a hurdle here
