Hi GC Team,

I am not sure if I am posting this in right thread so forgive me for this mistake if its the wrong thread for this recent unpleasant issue in accessing GC website.

I have been seeing a lot of advertisements suddenly and I am not sure if the problem is with my browser setting or this is a change with GC website. I haven't changed any setting in my browser and these ads are not from proxy or searches as I never searched for anything remotely related to these ads.

Please let me know if everything is the same with GC website. The images are attached to refer to the ads seen on GC pages

Thank you for posting. We Are experimenting with ads. We haven’t really had much of at presence and this is some thing one of the moderators has been leading to attempt to monetize the banners. Welcome any suggestions as we test solutions and placements.

Its a relief to know that everything is intentional and under control here.

Ads are ok. Good luck with this new project. :)

All the above suggestions make a lot of sense.
But I have 2 quickly doable things:

1)
Would be good to have groups.
Direct messages
School messages
Personal Group
Others
=> I am not sure if there can be more categories. But this will make the interface a lot more clean. GC has a lot to offer, but the UI is very cluttered.

2)
Another low hanging fruit can be addition of a "Leave group" option in below space:

I dont think the current method to leave is a group is very discoverable.

Hi. Great suggestion for leave group. We need to make it more transparent and easier to accomplish.
I see your point about filtering groups. I think that's a good idea. When we deployed we had 2 groups  and now we have a lot more

So, we also need to add a search bar and a favourite button now!! Both these will allow easy access to groups and people
