Let me start with Tip #1.
GMAT Club has lots of resources and tools we have built over the years. One of the core resources is the timer. Each Quant and Verbal question on GMAT Club has the timer that tells you the difficulty of the question (from 5% to 95%) these are percentiles and basically anything higher than 50% is hard since people traditionally tend to discuss and post harder questions. If you use the timer, the results will be saved into your Error Log and provide you with some stats and details about your success/progress. You can also add notes to each of the questions.
To use the timer, click the Play Button ▶ to start the timer. The clock will start ticking
Try to fit into the 2-min interval if you can. When you are ready to submit your answer, click one of the answer choices A, B, C, D, or E.
The timer will record your answer and show you the correct answer. It will also save your result into the error log.
