Hi ,
This seems to be a very nice post !
Can you please attach the PDF once again.
I tried downloading the PDF and it give an error saying ..
"The file is damaged and could not be repaired".

sergey you rock dude. a few questions:

where did this come from?
whats up with the words highlighted in blue?

also, whats up with some of the gobblygook and "hidden text" popping up everywhere?

are these 6's? 5's? where they ever graded in a testing situation?

I have no idea where this came from.
I just joined random GMAT egroups in Yahoo! and downloaded this from one of the files section.

I also don't know the range of scores
But they seem to be a good guide.

I am using these essays as a reference to compare to my own. I appreciate the samples as they present ideas that I had not thought of. But, I wouldn't recommend using the samples for much more than that. The writing, stylistically, is a little strange and the author is using phrases that are common in spoken English, but not written English. The word count for each essay is also a bit low despite the essays having several lengthy run-on sentences.

I don't want to bash the author. It's very useful to have their samples and I appreciate that anyone was willing to share their work. I just want others to be aware that these are not perfect examples to go by.

I believe so. It is important to me to see assumptions that I might have missed. My AWA score sucks and I need to work on that!
