Do any of you know when the admits are sent out ? Are all admits going to be sent out on Dec 18, or are they also sent out sequentially like the invites as they complete each file ?

Thanks kwam and agold.

I am going to do a bit more research on entrepreneurship at Chicago. Definitely looks pretty good. I am not really looking to work for a VC or PE. I am looking for exposure to VCs for pitching purposes and an atmosphere where I can bounce my ideas off other entrepreneurs. Also, I am still looking for one or two potential partners for my current startup and just wondering if Chicago draws students who would work on a startup during/right after grad school.

I'd enjoy knowing this information as well.

Decisions are not rolling. The calls typically start 2-3 days prior to the actual decision deadline. Generally, with very few exceptions, if you don't hear by the day prior to the "official date" you are denied / waitlisted.

I can attest to this, as I was waitlisted twice. If you don't hear in the days before via phone, things aren't going to go your way.

Last year signaled a change from a WL standpoint. As far as I know, there was only one person that was accepted off of the waitlist. Rose mentioned a few times that they were oversubscribed in terms of class size. I would expect that this year, there will be far less WLers than in the past. Which means that if you really don't hear by the 18th, your admission chances are slim.

That being said, b-school has proven to be an enigma so far...

I was at the student lounge studying when people started to gather to see the rankings.

Well, from the data, anyone can see the impact that last BW ranking made. Either people like it or not, rankings affect somehow the application decision. BTW, Chicago Booth, or The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, we won't call ourselves BSB   .

Are we required to send official transcripts before the admission offer?
