So far now, it seems that I am the only one

But, don't loose hope, people. I'm sure there will be plenty of WL conversions into admits in the end of the day.

I wish you best luck!

Looks like I'm back for another tour here. For the newbies welcome aboard, being WL'd here is pretty much like wearing a straitjacket. But as we saw today re: pathfinder/falibay and perhaps others, there is definitely hope.

Falibay, what was your WL strategy (if you had one)? Maybe we should share our strategies overhere to try to help our waitlisted fellows?

Mine was very simple: I strictly adhered to adcom recommendations and done nothing. I mean, literally, NOTHING AT ALL. I didn't even send usual "thank you note" to the admission office when I was informed of their deceison in December.

Some applicants try to pass-by adcom WL guidance by sending some mails in which they inform admission commitee of their recent promotions or recent endeavours, or try to express their interest in school. I did nothing of that, instead I blindly followed recommendations, sat back and relaxed. The outcome was more than positive for me, so maybe other WL-ers should do same. Obviously, there is no point in sending additional info to the school.

Just my two cents... I wish you best luck fellows!

Still on the waitlist. Not that I feel like waiting even more, but it could be worse. Congrats pathfinder & falibay. And good luck to those who are still waiting to hear.
