@ Yale, they teach us to observe the situation, think about it from all angles and then act....

We don't just jump into any situation without game plan....

I filled it out AND passed it along to my sister/roommate, so I beat both these guys.

Nah, their applicant pool will be too competitive with people trying to grace themselves in the presence of the illustrious nink

by the way kryzak, if you end up with a bunch of answers of people that play 0 hours of video games a week, it's probably me and all of raabend's 19th century relatives. Now if you'd only asked about how many hours I use the XBOX to stream my Netflix movies, it would be a whole different story.

Hey everyone,

This is a bit off topic, but it's still business school related (trust me, all of you will be making tons of these survey thingies next year :P).

I'm currently doing research on the gaming industry, specifically future ways of monetizing games, with a group of classmates. We have a 3 minute survey that would benefit from all gamers' (casual, hard core, MMO, etc...) feedback.

So all of you who are now admitted to great schools and have a lot of time on your hand, help a fellow GMATClubber out by going to this link and filling out the form.

https://www.zoomerang.com/Survey/?p=WEB2294TSM87MK

Oh yeah, this survey is designed to study the US market only, so please fill it out if you are live in the US.

If you can do this before May 1st, that would be great! :)

Thank you!
Kryzak

haha not much help from me - I'm not a gamer - but filled it out. You guys need to use qualtrics - way more powerful than zoomerang.

you guys are hilarious!!! I love you all! (wow, even got bb to fill one out! :P)

Yeah, I'll summarize the results or post them somewhere here after we're done. Actually this independent study project is what got me back into my old love for games (and hopefully a career in gaming).

We went from about 150 replies around 2pm today to over 300 just now. Awesome!!!

Done.

You know when you said it was for the gaming industry, I first thought you meant like casinos and couldn't figure out why they needed help figuring out how to monetize the games. As you can tell I'm not a big video game guy.
