Kaplans GMAT premier programme or Kaplan's GMAT maths workbk

I had seen this thread before posting ( best-gmat-math-prep-books-reviews-recommendations-77291.html) that's what intrigued me to type in a query, so wanted to clarify my doubt since it says only practice questions are covered on the cd so what about the normal example question and chapter wise introductions is it same too or sufficient in premier programme. Just that I need to improve on my quant as I have forgotten most of the topics I did during high school nd I need to get a good score in it.

nd one more thing can I skip kaplan's 800 if I purchase Kaplan's premier programme ??

This is fully up to you. Do the Premiere program first. If you feel you are lacking and need 650-700 level questions, then get the GMAT 800 book.

Check out my post above you. The Kaplan 800 book is ok to get you started, but remember the math is not NEARLY as hard as you need to get Q46 or above. Once you have mastered the Kaplan 800 and OG you need to get the Manhattan Number Properties book, then after you master that, just buy the GMATClub tests. They will really bring your quant score up. Again, all this in conjunction with the Official Guide. Also, for verbal use the Manhattan Sentence Correction guide, Powerscore LSAT Logical Reasoning Bible for CR, and maybe Manhattan Reading Comprehension Guide. For this, you need a good problem set of RC questions - one that will just give you reading practice. I took a Kaplan class last year, although not the Premier, and I would also look into Manhattan if you MUST take a course. They both will give you a good base to get started - its just that its $1300 bucks, dang.

Again, I am a joe blow, and I am not afilliated with any of these companies I named. I have just ran the gauntlet so to speak.

Can we expect kaplan to rectify these errors by informing on the site also do kplan come with another edition in the same year for the premier program with errors all rectified.

I would not be concerned about it - almost every book has errors in it. You can get Kaplan GMAT Live - it is the latest edition of the book (May 2009)

Yes Kaplan 800's new edition has been renamed Kaplan Advanced.
