Inseadsux , he's just a troll that has been posting fake things. He couldn't even say how people call the cohorts of december vs the ones of july
I am an INSEAD grad, did my internship in San Francisco, got the job but am now in Europe. Everybody in my fund knew about INSEAD and had good experiences with its grads. Having said this, it will definitely not be a walk in the park. It'll be fairly straightforward in Consulting and IB (people go to these offices when they request it with no problem), but if you want to try other sector you will have to hustle. I made it into the VC/PE sector but it was my individual search and the school helped me prep for the interviews, but they didn't facilitate the contacts or attracted US funds to the university.
It is certain that the school is working to have a bigger presence in the US, but it is not the N1 priority in my opinion, they are much more focused in Asia and Middle East. So long story short, if you're certain that you want to go to the US, I would say don't add a layer of complexity and go to a US school. If you want to do Consulting and IB, you're in equal conditions to get into those offices, just put them as your priority.
Hope it helps! And please don't listen to
Inseadsux . I cannot think of something sadder than a grown man trolling on forums out of bitterness. Work better on your applications the next time buddy!
