Hello all,
Career Interest: I would like a career as a financial analyst or as an investment banker in London.
MBA school interest: I would like to attend an elite business school in the UK, preferably Oxford or Cambridge. (I am assuming the London financial district employers will place moe value on an English MBA)
Profile:
BS in Aerospace Engineering
BS in Physics
BS in Astronomy
Undergraduate GPA = 2.5 (Embarrassed to post it)
690 GMAT score (50 M 33 V) (Lowest score in any practice exam was 710, averaged 730)
Currently enrolled in local AASCB accredited business school. Current career is Metallurgical Engineer at tier one aircraft supplier. (US citizen)
Long story made short: I had some personal issues which undermined my undergraduate GPA. I am currently attending an AASCB accredited business school (I hope to do well to demonstrate to other institutions that I have exceptional academic ability). I am confident I can boost my GMAT score to the 750-760 range.
Question: Is admittance at an institution like Oxford with 3 undergraduate Bachelor of Science degrees and a mid-700's GMAT score a reasonable pursuit?
