I do agree with you on that shaselai ... but my concern was , I have a decent WE ( 5 yrs in IT ) , have good % ( 78 in Engineering ) , good EC's and had very good progressions in my career in an MNC. So if I have to quit my job, invest a lot in MBA and then come back to the same position and salary , it doesn't do me any good.

Hence I wanted some advice from the GMAT club veterans or alumni from the b-schools who are members of this forum to help me choose the b-schools I should be targeting so that my efforts and investment will not be futile.

well i understand your dillema as most of us are going to quit our jobs and "lose" 2 years of salary but again worth it is really hard to say unless you experience it. I guess you could say top 20 schools are "worth it" but that doesnt mean the others arent. The higher rank you go i guess the more "worthy" it seems to be.
