256 = 8x/100 + (3000-x)/10, where x amount was invested at 8%.
x= 2200 E

simplify following expression;
10*x/100+ (3000-x)*8/100 = 256
solve for x
x= 800
so 8% amount ; 3000-800 ; 2200
