hmm, that's a good question. From a purely spectative perspective, I think EMBA may be a better fit for you. Yes, it's going to be a bit harder to get into pure strategy consulting firms, such as McKinsey, but the culture of an MBA is really circulating around the age of 27 or 28. However, don't let what I say discourage you. I think this is really something that you're going to have to decide. You do qualify for an EMBA, but you're also not so old that a traditional MBA is out of the question for you. So with that, I think you'll have to make your judgment call and say what's more likely. Keep in mind though that EMBA will most likely ask you to meet on weekends and whatnot. Are you going to be willing to fly every weekend or every other weekend to the city of your school? Also, EMBA allows you (and asks you) to keep working, so your 145k/year is not forgone. Lastly though, you need to keep in mind that strategy consultants for MBB from MBA comes out as an Associate, which commands a salary of around 100-120k, a significant decrease from your current salary.
