Hi jojo95,
You most probably drew the figure wrong, look at the figure above.Also look the Directions on the Right
In \(\Delta\) ADE we can use Pythagoras theorem and find AD
\(AD^2 =30^2+10^2\\\\
AD^2 =900+100\\\\
AD=\sqrt{1000} \rightarrow 10\sqrt{10}\)
