Hi,
Thanks for sharing your profile. You do come from a large pool of candidates with more of a technical background, and it's true that more people management skills and leadership opportunities will strengthen your candidacy. In terms of applying now vs waiting another year, I would ask yourself what you think you could do to strengthen your application within that year, in terms of taking on new projects or roles or demonstrating more leadership. If there are not many changes you foresee, you may want to apply now as 4 years is still a respectable number of years in the workplace to learn a lot not only technically but also about working with others. If you think you can strengthen your resume and profile in the coming year, you could wait or you could just pick one or two schools to try for this year just in case, with the mindset that you'll re-apply next year most likely.
In either scenario, you'll want to emphasize your community and extracurricular activities, and anywhere that you've demonstrated people management, project management, and communication skills, as well as leadership and teamwork. With very strong essays, you could have a chance, but you'll really need to work hard to stand out.
Your schools seem appropriately categorized, just realize that your reach schools will be very difficult, and the ones labelled 'match' will still be challenging to get into. Most people find time to apply to 3-6 schools max because it is pretty time consuming and you don't want to sacrifice quality for quantity of applications.
Good luck with your decisions and let us know if you have other questions!
