Applying to the programs for immediate post-college will be tough – as they are extremely competitive. Also, for most, you will need to detail some
goals. So one key thing to do would be to research goals and be prepared to make a case for something that really interests you. If you’re interested in consulting to start, articulate why. Also, think about how you will differentiate yourself among others in your category—Indians in finance—who will be applying to these programs.
Because of the competitiveness of HBS 2+2, Yale Silver Scholars, and Stanford, also formulate a strong Plan B if you don’t get admitted, so you can start of your career on the right path in a direction that is meaningful to you. I consider these programs to be very, very high reaches, made all the harder because you're in an over-represented group for them. Yale would be more in the reasonable reach category, but still high.
To strengthen your candidacy, continue showing leadership and impact in your activities, keep getting good grades, and explore careers in order to talk informatively about your goals.
