QUANT 44, VERBAL 26 - PLEASE HELP!! [#permalink] New post   24 Oct 2008, 18:34
I have been constantly getting 40+ in quantitative section but tanking in verbal part. I am scoring high 20s in verbal. I have so far completed, OG-11, OG Verbal Review, MGMAT 2 Tests, GMAT PREP Tests.

Any suggestions, comments and tips on how to improve score in verbal?

where do you feel you are weak the most ? What type of questions do you get wrong most of the times ? (In OG and GMATPrep)

When do you plan to take the GMAT next ??

Have you tried these books ??
1) MGMAT sc guide
2) Powerscore GMAT CR Bible

This is my 7th week of preparation. I have just ordered Manhattan SC and GMAT Powerscore CR Bible and trying to re-do OG's RC. I feel am weak at SC and RC, sometimes CR too.
The score is fluctuating. Plan to take GMAT in 2nd week of December

I am sure you'll improve a lot after you go through these books ..... One thing I learnt here - In verbal it is very crucial to understand why answer choices are right or wrong, this will initially take some time you will improve over time ... You still have enough time :)
