Re: Rarely fatal, but extremely dangerous nonetheless herpetologists study [#permalink]
Official Explanation :

As written this sentence has a misplaced modifier: herpetologists aren't generally fatal but rattlesnake might be. Choices (A), (B), and (C) all have this error and can be eliminated.

Choice (E) replaces herpetologists with studying, which isn't really a noun nor is it fatal. Correct answer is (D).

Re: Rarely fatal, but extremely dangerous nonetheless herpetologists study [#permalink]
The correct choice has "even by herpetologists" , which is not described in the original sentence.\
So IMO it is wrong.

Can anyone explain please.

Anyone else find this sentence a little weird? I feel like it's missing a few commas, or maybe I'm just tired...
