Regarding GMAT score [#permalink]

Hey Guys,

Can you tell me? I am going to take GMAT on 15th Feb but many colleges have the last date for application on 1st March, and till that I will not be getting my scorecard.

Can I take printout of the result shown on exam day and apply to colleges before my actual scorecard is out or do I have to wait for 20 Days??

On the safer side, you may check with the program office whether you can apply with the unofficial score?

All the best for your exam!!

Hi princebatra,

Business Schools often take weeks or months to determine who to invite to attend their respective Programs, so as long as your application is in on time - and you have a Score to report (even if they don't immediately have access to the Official Score Report), then your timeline and application plan should be fine. In addition, many Programs will consider accepting a GMAT Score after the application has been submitted (meaning that you could potentially retake the GMAT to Score higher - and bolster your application(s)).

Hi princebatra,

Since it could take up to 20 days to receive your official score report, you should reach out to the folks in admissions to confirm whether they’d accept your unofficial score.

If you have any further questions, feel free to reach out.

Good luck!
