A. has modifier issue with "that were".
B and D. has S-V issue with "yields".
C. wordy with "having been".

arise with - correct idiom -C,D out.
A - that were arising - not parellel with other subject verb. were and have yield
B- SV issue.. were and yields.
E - arose clearly elimates the problem of SV
