Got my interview request about half an hour ago.
I live in Chicago.
Male, 24, Engineering (MIT also), GPA: 2.8, GMAT: 750, WE: 4 years as hedge fund trader. African American + International Background

Any rejection mail so far ? This wait is killing me. I am supposed to start the essays for another school, but could not put my mind on it.

Folks, too early to think about dings... they didn't come until a few days before Xmas last year. And way too few east coast invites have gone out so far... not to mention the west coast and other places which have received even fewer. I think no invite this time next week and you are free to start worrying! :)

sparticus, there haven't been any west coast invites to my knowledge, based on this site and beatthegmat.

Haha really? they sent out dings a few days before Christmas?

Seems like they could have waited until after.

Last year, I got my ding 2 weeks after they started sending invites, yeah just before christmas


Did any re-applicant get an invite?

I would say that for any invite anywhere in the world! Seems like its over for today. Sloan adcom already left for the weekend leaving us all here biting our nails..

Arguably it's fairer that way. Better to let people know sooner rather than later, so that they can focus on R2 applications?
