Hi, I plan on appearing for the gmat in the end of August. My study plan/resources are as follows

-Mgmat strategy guide all 10 books
-Power score CR Bible
-OG 2019 practice questions (will attempt them timed + topic wise)
-Mgmat CATS
-OG CATS (at the end)
-Veritas Cats (if I get the time)
-GMAT Club forums/YouTube/reddit

Are there any other resources (strategy guide/practice question banks/CATs) that you guys would recommend?

Secondly, would you recommend getting the OG supplementary books(quant and verbal review)? I've heard the questions are too easy.

Hi Hkhalids,

The resources you mentioned are quite exhaustive and should help you acheive a good score. For Verbal I would encourage you to focus only on official sources. After you are done with the OG, I would also encourage you to purchase GMATPREP QP 1 for some great additional practice. It has got some great Quant and Verbal questions and will certainly help improve your scores further.

I must add that if you are particularly looking to discover and improve on your weak areas in Quant; a subscription to GMATCLUB tests is the best way to do that. They are indeed phenomenal and will not only pinpoint your weak areas but also help you improve on them.

Hi Hkhalids,

You can certainly go for Verbal Review for some great additional questions in Verbal. For Quant, just doing the OG and GMATCLUB Tests would suffice.

Hello Hkhalids,

We wish you the best of luck for your GMAT test. You have 3-weeks time, and now you need to be more focused on revising concepts and solving as many as questions you can. Also, take the mock tests and reliable diagnostic tests that shall help you in tracking performance.

Let’s be very clear that the desired score of 700 or above needs various possible combinations: V37/Q50, V39/Q49, V43/Q45. You need to balance both the section: Verbal and Quant.

In addition to the resources you have, we will recommend you to go through the Aristotle grail for sentence correction. Also, try 700+ level questions for RC and CR. The standard questions are available on this forum.

For DS/PS, we would recommend you to visit our website https://www.mathrevolution.com and check Q 51 shortcut module.This will help you learn quick and alternative approaches to solve questions, thus saving you the time.
