Hi,

I took my GMAT test around a month ago and got 690 (Q45, V40). I did 4 GMATPreps in total and here are my score breakdowns:

Prep 1: 720 (Q45, V44)
Prep 2: 740 (Q49, V42)
Prep 3: 740 (Q49, V42)
Prep 4: 710 (Q49, V36)

I admit that I was really nervous before the test and did not feel the usual confidence I usually had during the preps. All of the preps I did was on the exact test condition. I have a target score of 730+ for my next test. Based on some discrepancies of preps I did before, I feel that I might have some fundamental inconsistencies in my understanding. I am planning to continue pursuing my desired score though.

Does anyone here may provide me with some suggestions on which material or study plans that might be suitable for me? Any tips will be greatly appreciated!

Hey jxav,

The good news is that if you're already at a 690, then you have a good foundation. In terms of study materials to use it would be easier to recommend a course of action if we knew what materials you've already used!

In terms of general tips as you start your climb up from 690, I love this article as a framework for how your mindset needs to shift a little to get above a 700. Check it out, and get in touch if you have any questions for what that means for you as you're starting to study for your next test!

Thanks for the response! Here are the study materias I have used so far:

1. 5 MGMAT Quant Books
2. 1 MGMAT Advanced Quant
3. OG 13 & 17
4. Official Verbal Review 2017 & 2019

I plan to subscribe the Magoosh premium plan as I have hear plenty of positive reviews for Magoosh. What is your opinion about this?

What you have so far is a great foundation! As someone who writes curriculum for ORION, I'm pretty partial to our way of doing things. However, from what I've heard Magoosh is a great supplement to other materials.

If you want to know it properly then I have some suggestion, in today's date there are so many things by which you will learn this. So for that, if you interested in it then just go to play store and topic search related to it and get more applications. So if you want to know more about it then Epson printer error code 0xf1 just visit with it and get more help.

Hi jxav

I hope you are well. Your score is great but why do you want to raise it to 730?

Also, Magoosh is very good but when I reviewed your last test a advice you to focus on Quant. I believe you know that. So I advice you apply to GMAT club tests (you won't regret at all as will raise your attention and capabilities). Also follow some great instructors to learn various techniques that may help you as well. You may consider Manhattan and Veritas exams.
