E \$1.25x

A \$0.75
B \$0.75 + x
C \$0.75 + 0.5x

Total cost = 0.75 + 0.5(x -1.

x mins in total.

0.5 is applicable for x - 1 mins. For 1 mins 0.75 will be charged.

D is the correct answer.

Cost of Phone Call = Cost for first 1 min + Cost for more than first 1 min

So, Cost of Phone Call = 0.75 + 0.50( x - 1 ), Answer must be (D)
