The programs prepare the athletes (directly) for the Olympic Games. They don't just "enhance their preparation".

There's also the unnecessary repetition of "their". That's not an error in and of itself, but GMAC will only use redundant phrasing in answer choices that are wrong/objectively inferior for other reasons.
