Hello Everyone!

We'd like to share the features of New GMAT Club Forum Timer Version 3 (learn about version 2 here)

Improve your GMAT score by attempting ALL questions on GMAT Club's Forum with the TIMER.
  • Use it as an automatic error log - all questions you attempt are recorded in a dedicated workbook area
  • Achieve better time management
  • Analyze your strengths and weaknesses
  • Practice in test-like conditions
  • Keep track of your progress (all of your timing and answer results are saved in Your Workbook)
  • Analyze detailed statistics (nice charts included)
Yes, all of the questions you attempt with GMAT Club's Timer will be saved in your workbook that you can use as an error log later to identify patterns, weaknesses, or attempt the questions you got wrong again. All of this with just 2 clicks of a mouse!

Step 1: Start the Timer

Image

Step 2: Choose the answer

If the Official Answer was provided in the post, the correct answer will blink in green.

Thanks bb and dzyubam for giving a thought to my idea ;)

This feature is really nice. One more thing I want to share to make this more useful:
If possible then hide the OA (as mentioned in spoiler) untill a few replies are posted to the question or, say, after a few days the OA will get reflected in the spoiler. This way the replies wouldnt be biased :)

It is available in Math and Verbal forums by default. For example, this thread has it:
fast-ds-inequality-96761.html
It's not a downloadable timer. For downloadable one please refer to this thread:
gmat-timer-56014.html

Good luck with your GMAT prep!

Great Tool. Have a small suggestion.

I would say there should be a key board short cut to start the timer and stop the timer. This way reader does not get distracted from reading the question.

cheers

Welcome to GMAT Club!

The timer is built into the first post of the thread. It is available in Math and Verbal forums. Here's an example:
