(0.3)^5/(0.3)^3 [#permalink]
If someone needs a visualization why we subtract powers and not divide 0.3 by 0.3

\(\frac{0.3^5}{0.3^3}\)=\(\frac{(0.3)(0.3)(0.3)(0.3)(0.3)}{(0.3)(0.3)(0.3)}\)=(0.3)(0.3)=0.09

Hi Bunuel,

is this a 600-700 range question?

Most of the times for me 700 questions are difficult to crack or take long time.
But 600 to 700 are very easy... wondering is this real

(0.3)^5/(0.3)^3
=(0.3)^(5−3)
=(0.3)^2

A. 0.001

B. 0.01

C. 0.09

D. 0.9

E. 1

0.3*0.3 is left from the fraction

Ignore the decimals we get 3*3=9

Bring back the 2 decimal places, we get .09
