Is it only with me or happens with everyone? If I know that a question is of 700 level then it takes me more time to solve that question. It took me 3 minutes to solve this one. I get cautious knowing that it's a 700 level question and then focus more on the stimulus and the options. In such cases, I face issues such as re-reading the stimulus and answer options to be sure of my answer. Also, It takes me a little longer to understand the reasoning behind the 700 level cr questions. Can anyone please suggest how to overcome this issue? Also, many times I have read that following a consistent approach is the key to success in GMAT CR. My approach to CR is as follows:
1) read the question stem
2) read the stimulus
3) understand the reasoning, find the conclusion, and premise.
4) understand what the question asks exactly.
5) Pre-think the answer/or try to figure out what could be a correct answer.
6) Look at the options and eliminate the wrong ones. (I try to identify out-of-scope, irrelevant, extreme wordings, options with comparison errors, trap answers (these are hard to distinguish from the correct answer. Need precise focus on each word)
Am I doing anything wrong? Is there anything I can do differently? Is there any material that I can follow to understand different argument structures better and expect what type of answer options to expect?
Can anyone please help with their expert opinion?
