({17} + {5})*{27}= ({4*4+1} + {4*1+1})*{4*6+3}
Just taking the excess or remainders
\((1+1)*3=2*3=6\)

According to the logic {x} is the remainder for x/4.
Hence {17} = remainder of 17/4 = 1; {5} = remainder of 5/4 = 1; {27} = remainder of 27/4 = 3. Now the equation is - (1+1)*3 = 6 (C)

{17} = remainder when 17 is divided by 4 = 1
{5} = remainder when 5 is divided by 4 = 1
{17} + {5} = 1 + 1 = 2

{27} = remainder when 27 is divided by 4 = 3

({17} + {5})*{27} = 2 * 3 = 6

C is correct
