Hi Dalal,

Your story is truly inspiring! Thank you for sharing your journey with us. I need your advice on the GMAT. I have been preparing for GMAT for a year now and I am taking the egmat course. I recently took a mock and got a score of just 430. I need to take the exam next month if I have to catch the fall session of 2024. Can you please tell me how I can reach a score of 700 from here on?

Hi Prob2303.

Although Dalal was able to go from 250 to 780, she didn't increase her score 270 points in one month, as you are hoping to. It took her much longer than a month to increase her score from the 400s to the 700s.

The truth is that, regardless of how effectively you prepare, it will likely take you several months or more to go from your current level to 700+, unless your scoring 430 on that practice test was a fluke to the downside.

Was that an official practice test? Also, have you taken any other practice tests since you took that one?

Hi Marty,

I haven't given the official practice test. The mock that I took was from the egmat course e-sigma mock.

I will be starting the official mock from tomorrow to know where I stand vis-a-vis my GMAT preparation.

Prob2303 - Thank you for being a student. Make sure that you create your PSP. It will not only give you a solid timeline to follow but also tell you the sequence of study.
