T = time taken
W = work done
M= W/T
M*T/W = constant

M1t1/w1=m2t2/w2;
4*4/4=100*t2/100;
solve for t2=4 mins option A

Archit3110, could u explain for me what are M, t and w in your formula? Thanks so much.

Work rate = 4 letters in 4 minutes by 4 machines

i.e. Work rate = 1 letters in 4 minutes by 1 machine

100 machines in 4 minutes will produce 100 letters

Answer: Option A

4 computers X:

work = 4 letters
time = 4 minutes
rate = work/time = 4/4 = 1 letter per minute

1 computer X:

rate = 1/4 letter per minute

100 computers X:

work = 100 letters
rate = 100(1/4) = 25 letters per minute
time = work/rate = 100/25 = 4 minutes

Answer: A
