Let's establish our variables:
x = number of books
y = how much each book costs

xy = 300
(x+5)(0.75y) = 300

(3/4)xy+(15/4)y = 300
(3/4)(300)+(15/4)y = 300
(15/4)y = 75
y = $20 (ORIGINAL PRICE) --> new price is 3/4 of this --> Thus, Price is now $15
