Best GMAT Quants online classes? [#permalink]

Hi,

I am looking for an online class for GMAT Quants. What would you suggest? Magoosh or E-GMAT? I have heard E-GMAT is good for Verbal but is it the same for Quants?

Hi somya27jain,

You can try out the Math revolution course as it is phenomenal and covers the entire syllabus really well. Plus it has great reviews on GMATCLUB. I must add that if you are particularly looking to discover and improve on your weak areas in Quant; a subscription to GMATCLUB tests is the best way to do that. They are indeed phenomenal and will not only pinpoint your weak areas but also help you improve on them.

Further taking multiple mocks might help. Apart from the GMATPREP, Manhattan GMAT tests and Veritas Prep Tests in my experience have good verbal and Quant section and will certainly help you point out and improve your weak areas.

Further another advantage of taking many mocks is to build up your stamina. Apart from the GMATPREP tests, taking practise tests of any major GMATPREP company ought to do that.

Lastly I would also encourage you to purchase GMATPREP QP 1 for some great additional practice.

Hope this helps. All the best.

Hi somya27jain,

From your post, it's not clear how long you've been studying (or if you're just starting out). Before I can offer you the specific advice that you’re looking for, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:

Studies:
1) How long have you studied?
2) What study materials have you used so far?
3) What were Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for this Diagnostic CAT?

Goals:
4) When are you planning to apply to Business School?
5) What Schools are you planning to apply to?

GMAT assassins aren't born, they're made,

Hi

On the GMAT Club, i have practiced almost 1000+ Quant questions and in all questions i have liked the explanations by

1. GMATPrepNow
2. ScottTargetTestPrep : Target Test Prep

if you have only two options of eGMAT and Magoosh, eGMAT Interactive learning system and Practice system is better than Magoosh's
you can also check the reviews of Magoosh and eGMAT or get the trial of both of the courses

eGMAT: https://gmatclub.com/reviews/e-gmat-6?fl=menu
Magoosh: https://gmatclub.com/reviews/magoosh-345345496?fl=menu

Good Luck

Check also Math Revolution since they ONLY offer a Math Course exclusively (no verbal).

Hi somya27jain,

You also should check GMAT Club reviews for the best quant course.

Additionally, you may find it helpful to read this article about how to increase your GMAT quant score.

somya27jain Its been a month or so that I'm using Target Test Prep and I'm loving the course. This course teaches everything a person needs to know about Quant and when I started my level was Q35 and recently I scored Q49 on GMAT Prep mock test. I feel confident and I think that's what matters.
