CBS has a rolling admission, first in first out.
With the earliest ED applications it often took less than a week to receive feedback (invitation / ding), we're now hoping that it's somewhere close to two weeks although it's already getting closer to 3-4 weeks at the moment due to the higher number of applications they will have received by now.

You get an email that prompts you to visit your application page. From there you input your location and the webpage returns several alums you can contact to interview you. It's then contingent upon you to schedule your own interview.

Congratulations!

What are you guys who've already been admitted going to do with the outstanding applications - withdraw or wait and see just to know whether you would've been invited for an interview?


I'll just leave them for now, I already paid some dough. If they call for interview I will see, nothing to loose either way

I got in as well a couple of days back. (Have been excitedly telling other people since then) Here's my timeline as I remember it.

Application submitted - 7-Sep
Invited to Interview - 28-Sep
Interview Feedback submitted - 6-Oct
Decision received - 14-Oct

I am based out of Asia, and got a phone call from the admissions committee finally. So more than your email, check your phone. (I had missed the call initially, tried calling back and had a nerve racking hour before I finally got through and spoke to them)

ED. I interviewed at 9AM and the review was submitted by 3 or 4PM that afternoon.

Work experience: 3 years as a consultant
gpa: 3.6 in engineering at an average state school
extra curricular: active member of a non-profit focused on youth education; active in sports (local leagues)

Bonjour! I am going to be in Paris beginning of this November for a business trip.

I am a portfolio manager in a central bank. I manage my country's foreign exchange reserves and acts as a financial agent to the Government. I have taken on many projects within the bank, such as forced M&A between two commercial banks, local monetary policy transmission developments etc ... My profile is definitely different from others .... working in a young economy, WE has been rich and quite eventful.

I will be sure to keep the forum informed and help to give people idea of what's happening.

Undergrad: top tier in China. Social science
Grad: top 30 in the US. Finance
GRE: 1530
WE: 1 Year investment management in China, 2.5 years corporate finance in the US.

During my interview, the interviewer kept saying that my background can add diversity to the CBS community as most people are from banking/consulting background. I think CBS is trying to recruit people with various industry experience to enrich the community.
