I applied R4 submitting early last week. How long after submission or the deadline does Johnson begin sending interview invites ? Do they do this all at once, or person by person? Is there a published invite deadline for each round? Thanks for the help.

To all those who have successfully interviewed, how did you negotiate around the question of "What other schools that you applied? How would you choose between them if you were admitted?"

Any thoughts/ suggestions?

I mentioned 2 other programs I applied to (Tuck and YSOM), but said that JGSM is my number 1 for the x, y, z reasons (2 academic reasons, 1 personal).

I will not claim high moral grounds and say I was completely honest, and that is for 2 reasons:
1) I knew I was dinged at Tuck before my interview, but did not say that.
2) While it is true that all things being equal I would take JGSM over YSOM, a scholarship from YSOM may sway my opinion.

For you, I would recommend you give a plausible story. If you say you applied to Harvard and Stanford, it will show JGSM as your safety. You don't want that. If you give significantly less-reputed schools, it will not help neither. I think it's a balance, but the important thing is to keep the spotlight on JGSM and why you belong there, and not to the other program(s).

It is weird. My portal site looks like being reset. It says

We noticed that this is the first time you have logged in. Select an interest page from the list below that most closely relates to you. This page will be partially filled out with your information. Please take some time to tell us more about yourself or update your information (including username and password).

I've been using this portal for a long while without meeting any problem. Then I click on the link "MBA", then I found all my all old information are still there and are filling out all the blanks of the forms except password. It looks like the first time I was logining into the portal.

Anyone has met this problem before?

Applicant pool for R4 is small because we are the only ones foolish enough to think we have a chance. Good luck to you. My app status now says its under review. Wish I knew about when to expect an interview invite or not.
