Thanks! My application went under review last Feb 14. But, AdCom emailed me on Mar 23 to say that they haven't started reading mine yet. I received an interview invite on Mar 30, opted to interview with an alumnus 2 days ago, and received the admit email today. :-D

Have you submitted your 2009 1040 yet. That may have been the difference.

Hi All - I am a international R3 applicant who was wait listed.

So far I am disappointed by the lack of communication for the admissions committee (besides the generic emails sent). So far I have email an update in my circumstances and ways I set out to improve my application.

Could wait listers (from all rounds) please post their W/L experiences, whether they have received a feedback request form or what they are doing to add to their application.

I am not currently in the W/L position so can't advise as to this year, but have you taken a look at last years thread? Near the last few pages, there was an applicant who got in after being w/l'd and they detailed out what they did to keep his/her name in front of the admissions committee. I think it might be Raabend, who is the host of this thread, but I could be wrong. Anyway, if you haven't taken a look at the 2009 thread, it might help. Good Luck!!
