Thanks for the suggestion diego77. I have done it. Withdrawals are in Pink with the stage of withdrawal in brackets.

People have been getting invites on non-Friday weekdays.

Yeah, people have been getting it every weekday. I'd imagine some 300-400 invites is going out for R2, stretched over 5-6 weeks, that's probably on average a dozen or so goes out every weekday.

Any R2 applicant got invite today? One question for all: Are you in touch with schools on your application status or are assuming that the ball is in the school's court and there is not muct to do at this time? People suggest networking at this stage. How much that comes into play over the overall meritocracy of your application? Any views?

I am waiting "patiently" as most are on this thread that have not heard back yet. I happen to know a good number of folks who attended or currently attend Anderson, and there seems to be two schools of thought. Some say anything you do after you submit has little to no effect. Others say "it can't hurt, it can only help". The latter group is usually composed of folks that have had someone call on their behalf (usually a VIP, who is also an Anderson alumni), which ultimately led to an interview. I attended class this week, after submitting for R2. I figured since I'm close to campus I have no reason not to attend. However, even one of the Anderson students that took me to class said it has no effect in the decision process...

I hope that helps, even though it's a lot of info. The bottom line is that you can read these threads all day, and one thing rings true: the process of being admitted is nowhere near black and white. There are so many components to the puzzle, I doubt any one thing you would do at this point would dramatically affect adcom's decision-making process.

First post. R2. Invited yesterday to interview at 7.50pm EST
Anybody heard about curveballs during the interview? I'm told its supposed to be fairly relaxed. The on-campus option only schedules 30min slots. I cant imagine a high pressure interview in 30 minutes.
Does anyone have statistics on percent admitted out of the interview pool?

According to Business Week:
-Applicants (admitted and denied) who were interviewed: 44%
-Applicants who were accepted to the most recent class: 29%
-Admitted applicants who were interviewed: 100%

So about 65% of those who interview get accepted.

Any R2 desis(Indians) who got interview call???

Hi Guys,
I have been kind of stressed out waiting for the interview invite.
My status still says : completed for review.
If I don't get the interview invite does it keep like that until the last day, or I should expect to get an email saying that I was dinged without an interview?

How long after the deadline for round 1 did the applicants received the denial notice?
