Hi, I am still waiting to hear back. I applied on Jan 2nd (completed video questions on the 6th) from NYC. Should I lose hope?

I applied on the same day and haven’t heard back as well. To this point, I already consider it a ding, and if the invite comes later, let’s call it a pleasant surprise 🥹 We still have schools to prepare for, so let’s not dwell too long on this

I think that schools such as Yale may get a lot of non-enrollment candidates who have been Accepeted nonetheless. Therefore the process is slower

Hi all, I checked the application portal again and I found this message "Welcome, NAME . Your application is almost complete... Your application is not complete just yet. Your next steps are:" But I’m pretty sure that it was marked completed before and with maybe "under review" message if I remember correctly? All of my checklists are checked, fees and behavioral + video are done. Does this apply to anyone else? Whats your status message on this page? Thanks!

not sure if I should contact them or not regarding this

I checked and I did have a screenshot where it says "Welcome back, NAME. Your application is complete" and also your application is under review. Not sure what constitutes this change

It seems from ClearAdmit that people who were waitlisted in R1 started getting interview invitations. Does this mean there is no hope for people who are still waiting to hear back from R2?

really? where did you see this? I looked on livewire and didn’t see any updates for yale recently

Hey, R1 WL here, got an interview a couple of weeks ago

But honestky don’t lose hope, Yale sent out interviews late into the round for R1 as well, and when I asked for WL feedback, I was told applications are reviewed with ongoing rounds, so getting an interview is not an indication of anything for R2 applicants imo
