I received 1 month free access for
Experts Global GMAT platform through GMAT Club. First of all thanks to @
Experts' Global for the generous offer.
I mainly used the course for verbal and part of the quant course. This is my attempt to share my feedback of the course.
1.Organization:
The course is neatly organized in 3 phases's starting with concept files and progressing to practice tests. This organization will be of real help to someone who is starting their preparation.
2.Study Plan: The platform has 2 study plan's - 15 week which would suit for someone who in initial stages and next one is 6 weeks more like a crash course.
3.GMAT like design - All the practice tests have the GMAT like user interface, probably to mimic the real time environment. Its good to see that.
4.GMAT Shots - These are 1 minute video's more like a flash card of important concepts. For me this was the best section. there are around 150 of these file
and i used it mainly to refer back to the sections that i have completed already. Kudos to those who have designed this.
5.Verbal - I followed RC section diligently uing
experts global. I liked the strategy recommended by RC and also they have good number of
passages for practice. RC was my weak area and the questions i saw in
Experts global was difficult, probably its just me.
SC and CR were equally good.
6.Full length Tests: 15 full length mock tests provided with the course and on top of that every tests comes up with amazing diagnostics. I really like the
diagnostics provided with result. Updated to shorter format as on April,17
7.Extras: There is a section names 'Extras' in which there were videos for short cuts for calculations, how to use answer choices for geometry questions. This will help in honing the skills.
8.App Help & Interview Prep: There are bunch of videos to help prepare for application and interview preparation , these are welcome addition. I did not had a chance to look into these videos since my focus was on GMAT as of now.
Con's: 1.RC Exercises: Each RC exercise consists of 2 passages and each passage comes up with 8 to 10 questions and entire exercise will have 17 to 20 questions. I am not so good in RC and i was not able to concentrate on 2 long RC's back to back in a single exercise. This reduced my accuracy level in RC exercise.
Timer issue: In RC passages , the timer turns red as soon as we hit 2 minute mark into the question. This is distracting, since for RC's we take around 3 to 4 minutes to analyze and prepare our notes before going into questions.
2.Phase 3 practice exercises - Some of the questions in phase 3 exercises are borrowed from previous phases, this reduces the importance of phase 3 a little
bit, since we have already seen some of those questions in phase 1 and phase 2.
Apart from those listed above, i did not came across any issues.
I like to thank @
Experts' Global team for the free access to their platform. Please watch
