I believe you may need the full version of the app to enable the timer... Mine is unlocked and looks like this.

Looks like you beat me to it....
One thing to add, the "Forum" option does have a timer built into the app.
Click on the Forum icon, then click on the bottom on the 2 arrows and you will see a timer icon... that gives you practice within the forum mode but it is a rather basic version....

In the Timer, there is an icon with 3 arrows that allows you to cycle through different modes (Q, V, and Custom)

Couldn't find relevant discussion from search and thus asking here (sorry if repeated).
I have paid version of GmatToolkit app (updated version). Is it possible to do fullcat there? The problem is that majority of Verbal questions included there are finished several times. Only possible way is to use filter (set Q37 and V41 accordingly). But maybe there is an option that somehow relates to GMATClub tests? Thanks in advance!

Hi. You can create a session with 37Q or 41V questions but it won't be a CAT/test, which it seems you already discovered.
Sorry, there is no tie in with the GMAT Club tests.

Best Regards,

Hello walker / bb

I just purchased the app and as soon payment went through PayPal a message showed on screen saying your account is activated, then asked for Username Password, I tried my gmatclub.com username password, but it didn't work and also Login Screen was not usual, it is something when we log into Private Network and then username passwords being asked in small Popup Window...

My question is, will I get my Access ID soon or someone has to look into this?

My apology in case I should not be directing these questions to you guys.

Thanks

One question, has the Android Premium version the timer and the OG Tracker?

If not, there is any online similar online tool we Androids can use?

Thanks in advance.

Hello bb
I really love GMAT Club and appreciate the work team is doing for the MBA aspirants. Thank you.

I have few queries :

I want to understand the difference / similarities between the Toolkit and the Test Center.

In case I buy one, will I have access to both?

I see that test center have 1560 questions and Toolkit have 3000+ question, are most of these questions common?

Are the data synchronised, as in If I buy toolkit for INR 1550/- will I be able to see the analytics in the My Performance section on the Test Center?

How will buying a premium membership of GMATClub help in terms of Cost for toolkit or Test Center?

Which one do you recommend for someone who is just about to begin OG2016.

Also, for verbal I might have to buy access to e-GMAT, which I see will also provide access to Test Center.

I am little confused with the offerings. Please help me with the best possible / cost effective solution.

Thanks & regards,

Re: GMAT ToolKit: iPhone/iPod/iPad/Android application [#permalink]
Hello,

I purchased GMAT ToolKit for iOS, back in version 1.6.5 for $24.99. I didn't take the GMAT at the time and got a new phone.

I went to look for GMAT Toolkit in my Purchased apps in my iTunes account, and it doesn't appear. I searched the GMAT Club forums and it says to press "purchase" again and it will let me download for free, but just wanted to confirm if this is still true.

It appears that iTunes thinks that my original purchase and the current version are different apps (the price is different, the publisher is different, it doesn't appear in my purchased apps list).

They are two different apps. Please go carefully through "Purchased". It has to be there.

We're working on an update for the iOS version and lifting a few restrictions.
The total number of questions available online through GMAT ToolKit is now ~15'000. It's more than enough for a success journey to 700+.

I'm not sure what exactly you mean. One of the main differences is that our apps are designed to work offline and you can't use the forum offline.

We're going to submit the 2.3.0 (iOS) update in a few days. The Official Guide 2016 in the OG Tracker gets links to GMAT Club forum discussions. Both Official Guide Quantitative and Verbal Reviews 2016 answers/tags are added to the OG Tracker too (without links). The limit of unanswered questions of each type is increased from 100 to 1000.
