If the perimeter of right triangle ABC above is \(3 + 3\sqrt{3}\), what is the area of the triangle?

(1) AC ≠ AB
(2) angle ABC = 30 °

(1) Ok, this triangle is not isosceles... Zero value. Not sufficient
(2) It's a 90-60-30 Tringle and P \(3 + 3\sqrt{3}\)
\(x+2x+x\sqrt{3}=3 + 3\sqrt{3}\) --> \(x(3+\sqrt{3})=3 + 3\sqrt{3}\)
x=1, hence we can find all three sides. Answer B

It should be x=√3, not 1:

x+2x+x√3 = 3+3√3

3x+x√3 = 3+3√3

x(3+1√3) = 3+3√3

√3(3+1√3) = 3+3√3

3√3 + 1*√3*√3 = 3√3+3
