INSEAD September 2013 - Calling All Applicants

I kind of enjoy this time. If you're done interviews, there is nothing else for you to do. So just enjoy the time and have some fun! As soon as you hear from the school, you will be stressed and busy no matter what the response is: 1) Dinged - stressed and weary; 2) Accepted! - Excited - but now you not only have to celebrate but you also have 2 months to plan your move to France / Singy; 3) WL - more uncertainty = stressful.

So sit back and relax - this is the time when you have nothing to do but enjoy your life.

Historically, INSEAD has enrolled in each class roughly 300 in Fonty and 200 in Singy. Now, all admitted candidates have access to the intranet where you can check who has been admitted. So far there are 281 accepted to Fonty and 166 to Singy. These numbers have been changing over the last weeks which I guess is due to people confirming their place (or not) by paying a deposit.

Now, it is true that in recent batches there were enrolled about 550, rather than 500, probably due to a higher yield. If that were true again, and the 60/40 split is respected, it would mean there would be 50 places for Fonty and 55 for Singy (rather than 20/35 as I wrote earlier) but given the overcrowding complaints I have read everywhere, I am not sure this trend will continue.

My AD said next week. However if decisions become available it could be sooner as in this week. Yesterday was a bank holiday. One thing is certain is that our application is being reviewed.

No Worries for that, to the last count there were only 28 French matriculating so French shouldn't reach the 10% rules bar

Is there a particular time when they email us/ call us ? Its already 5pm in Paris now - so i guess no more news today.

haha you guys... I have scheduled my holidays for this week and am doing 2-3 dives a day, keeps me distracted. i do check my phone everytime i get out of the water, but anyway, i reduced the time window when i can actively think of insead to about two hours per day.

Just submitted my application...however yet to submit my language proof certificate for degree taught in English which I am suppose to get tommorow....any other applicants?

Thanks......I got a reply from Insead saying that they will give confirmation to all applicants whether their application is complete or not.....So will have to wait......

Something like 90% of invites go out in the last 3 days... Start worrying this time next week if you haven't heard...until then just try not to think about it.
