MBA and Masters in Construction Management

I graduated recently from a liberal arts college with a degree in economics. Currently I work at an insurance company in what I see as a dead end job, but I would rather do this than be unemployed. I am considering going back to school in the fall for a Masters Construction Management from Colorado State, or a Masters in Real Estate and Construction Management from the University of Denver. I think it is necessary to return to school to get a job in the construction/real estate field, because my liberal arts degree has provided me with very few skills specific to that field.. I am looking to work for a General Contractor or a Construction Management Firm after my masters. Has anyone heard anything about the benefits in these types of programs, if so how about the strength of Denver or CSU? I can also see myself getting into real estate development after being in the field for a while, I was thinking about working after my masters for a couple years and getting an MBA. Is this a smart idea? I have read that an MBA in real estate is usually better for students trying to get into real estate finance. Is that usually the case? If so should I even consider an MBA? Also would an MBA program look at me negatively as a degree collector because of a previous masters degree, and assume I lack focus? Sorry if I am ill-informed about all of this or if this is the wrong forum to post this in, I just need some advice
