I've been doing research on business schools where I should apply for the past couple of months. I've gained immensely from forums like this. As my part of giving back, I've compiled a list of criteria that one must look while selecting a business school. The compilation has been posted in my blog post here. Actually its a first in the series of 3 posts that I'm planning to write about it. Hope this helps a fellow applicant in his research. Read more here..

Trust me on this, I've talked to a lot of Alumni and in my research, I've found that once you get to the business school where you really "FIT", the cost aspect does not matter at all. I assume here that by cost you mean to say RoI. The benefit of your "FIT" MBA program will be far more, most of which can't be measured in tangible benefits terms. The network, the life long brand backing are just to name a few...

I don't mean ROI. For some people, especially international students, financing a top tier MBA may be near impossible.

Well then I agree with you and to be frank, the post is a first in the series of 3 posts that I've planned to write on the topic. I have compiled a list of 9 criteria and 'Financing an MBA' aspect in terms of availability of 'Co-signor Free Loans' is one of them. I could not write a detailed note for all 9 criteria at one go due to lack of sufficient time and hence decided to complete it in 3 posts. Hope you understand. I will post the other 2 very shortly.
