Sorry to hear that. Could you please elaborate on why you are not upset after seeing those schools? That will be really helpful to other candidates.

Sure thing. I was stuck with a busy season at work through most of Rd 1 and only was able to visit 2 schools (Columbia and HBS). As I have now been able to visit more and more schools I am able to compare/contrast and build upon what I am looking for and what is the best fit for me. I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend visiting as many schools as you can as you will be able to do the same and really find the school that fits you, not that just has a great name. I hope that Rd 2 will not make it more difficult to get in, but I will have a better understanding of which school is the best for me. I have seen now that I lean towards a different school more and plan to continue visiting schools to make sure this doesn't change.

Hm... I applied on the same day and haven't received any response yet (see my post above).. I totally agree. Why would it take more than a month?!!

It usually takes two weeks to get a result. Mine was a little longer I guess because of the hurricane and election.

It seems like everyone who got the first status update today after submitting the application got dinged. Am I the only one who feels that way? Is there anyone who got the interview invite today?

Alright, been reading for a while, my turn to post.

ED, waitlisted into regular round. "Reconsider by Feb. 1st etc."

Stats:

ED submitted: 9/15
Invited to interview: 10/4
Interviewied/Feedback submitted: 10/25
Waitlisted: 11/7

Anyone else know what the odds or acceptance rate is on ED people moved into the regular round?

Any advice on how to pursue candidacy from this point, being waitlisted and put into the regular round?
